Four-Forest is a bilingual day school for children from 3-13 years of age. The school offers an inviting and friendly environment with a family atmosphere, where your child's learning experience can be nurtured in small class sizes.

Four-Forest aims to challenge each child to develop and flourish within the classroom, providing an environment where children are happy, confident and well supported.

The school follows a unique curriculum, which has been carefully put together using the local Swiss curriculum of Canton Lucerne and elements from the British ‘National Curriculum’. The children are taught equally in both English and German on a weekly basis (one week German, one week English). All Grades are taught by two fully qualified and experienced mother-tongue teachers. This curriculum begins in Pre-School with the 3-year old children and is followed by all children until 6th Grade, guaranteeing a high-quality bilingual education.

Through being exposed to both languages in a natural setting, the languages are acquired irrespective of the child’s mother-tongue. Four-Forest, therefore, caters equally for children from both Swiss and International families.

School hours are from 8.30am - 3.15pm. Four-Forest offers an ‘Early Bird’ club from 7.45am and various after-school activities until 6.00pm.

Since October 2006 the daily kindergarten "Froschkönig" has offered families in the Zürich area, the opportunity to balance the demands of family and occupation or other demands in the way that suits them best. "Froschkönig" is a bilingual ( English and German) day school in Kilchberg, on the South-West shore of Lake Zürich. We provide day care/nursery facilities and school-age (after school) care.

We limit our daily class size of 10-12 children, providing a child to teacher ratio of 5 or 6 to 1.

Hands-On Kids English Center was founded in 2002 by April Bernhardsgrütter, a qualified teacher and school administrator (principal) from the USA, and Sibylle Klob-Treu, a Swiss business major. The goal was to provide native English speaking families as well as non-native English speaking families the opportunity to participate in activities in English together. As the Center grew, the need for activities in Swiss German became apparent and then available, which provided the basis for bilingual education for children from 2 to 7 years old.

Institut Montana Zugerberg is a non-profit, swiss and international co-ed day- and boarding school. It was founded in 1926 and is comprised of an International Section as well as a Swiss Section.

The International Section’s purpose is to provide an education to prepare students for university entrance. It is a recognized IB World School and our students have entered universities in numerous countries including the UK, the USA, Canada, and Switzerland.
The Swiss Section prepares its students for entrance to Swiss universities. All Swiss universities have very high standards and are considered world class.

Since some students are beginners in English and in German, there are special courses tailored to their needs (English as a Foreign Language and German as a Foreign Language).

The class sizes range from six to fifteen students, and the teacher student rate is 1 to 6. All teachers of the International Section are fluent in English and most are native speakers.

We require that all teachers hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and many have earned a Master’s or a doctorate. The Swiss Section teachers hold degrees from German and Swiss universities, and have the equivalent of either a Master’s or a doctorate and an educational degree. In both sections the average teacher has more than seven years teaching experience and stays in average eight years at Montana.

In August of 2012 the Obersee Bilingual Gymnasium will accept its first students offering them a multitude of choices including bilingual Matura, International Baccalaureate Program and Secondary School. The comprehensive bilingual program will enable students to choose paths of education that suit their future plans, while at the same time keeping all options open. One Gymnasium program will be language focused and include Latin, another will be science and technology focused, both require exceptional academic skills being demonstrated.
